hey there chaz.... say just saw this tonight, .... i was near ready to try for action shots of ol' patty ann marie, too----though it IS tough at times....
oh my... soemtimes she's gone from view, before i can even close the shutter....
i have taken some great pose pics, now, too, but i really want to try for more action...
thanks for the encouragement...
hope to get somes more this summer...
sure love all the dog stuff here...

so many dogs!
today,i just walked patty ann marie, with a friends, dog: and i KNEW IT'D BE A RABBIT DAY... welllll, I SHOULD have known, as i did NOT bring the camera... ;)
she was too busy to see two of them, but man oh man, when she DID, (i have her on leash)... i did let her run up to it, and she pulled me along... well, she saw the rabbit stuck in the fence as it crawled out through it, and "learning pretty dad gum fast"----she TRIED to do it too!!!!...
course, i'd not let her... (she may have pulled me right through) (not possible, mind you)...
(would have made a great picture) :))
well, i shared all this to say:
wow, TIMID! these wonderful dogs are near as funny as cats, the WAY they have to "peek" through every little hole, or window, or nook and cranny...
here is one of patty:

i am so very very glad i was finally able to get a dog again...
she's really giving me joy... :)
(still glad for having the cats, too)... :)

I never believed in "soul mates" until I met her. We grew old together but she beat to the end of the race. The "Bunkster" January 21, 1999-July 28, 2010. As a dear friend recently said "I feel as if my soul has been subjected to a Brazilian wax job". She saw my son through elementary school, middle school, high school and almost college. We miss her.
