I know Gus..... Yeah right, he's a good dog....
That dog has broken a new camping lantern and framed me as the culprit! (Perhaps we should not be surprised with him being French and all)
He tried to asert his "Dominant Dog" move on me when while I sat quietly drunk on the floor watch ski porn.... Oh I know Gus and He is not a good dog.
I bet if you shave his paw you will find a tatooo that says "Death" and he is probably sporting some sort of switch blade in the curly fur...
Oh and if my Basset was alive, he would have made Gus his B***ch.
Ok, back to cute animal pictures.

My black lab Scout ^ (I posted about this in the holiday thread (I think)) had a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy in December 09 to rebuild her left knee.
Well.... Here's her new knee:
She's healed up (about 99% full use of her left knee according to the Dr.) and we've moved on to her right knee last week.

GhoulweJ, You Germans obviously have something against the French (Gus), perhaps stemming from times past when Gus's great, great something bit your fearless leader in the ass! Your fondness of the submissive Coby (British basset hound) also likely stems from your desire to win at your national sport which you should give up having lost twice!

That photo only reinforces my thought that Gus is involved in gangs (he is clearly flashing a "Yo Camino K9's" symbol with his out stretched right paw).
I expect if you were to inspect his "dog house" you would find he is hiding away some leashless street walking b**ches probably of the Black Lab persuasian and a stash of hippie laced doggie bites that "The First One Is Free" he distributes to unknowing chihuahua puppies.
That dog has you and his mother fooled.... Fooled I tell you!

Just had to post a photo of Piper. So many great dogs here.
She's small but looks a bit big because of the low camera position. Ok, smallish at 35 lbs.

dsqrd - Thanks! she loves that thing.
That's great to hear, I hope she's able to do the same thing. The second knee is recovering 10X faster then the first.

We tried to buy our dog health insurance, after the incident on page 1 of this thread.
Figured that costly joint surgery just might be in his future.
Unfortunately, the insurance company figured that out too. Poor Jack was rejected
due to his "pre-existing condition!" We took it personally, as if parents.
Fortunately, he got better (knock on wood), and still romps in the woods or the surf.
