I grew up here and I love this place

Ian I'm born and raised here also.. many of us are with love from Stoney!

welcome to Stoney Point... we need to meet and drink a beer..

earlier today I talked to guyman set ur calendar for sept8th HOT DOG BBQ

I have some paint that will match really well, I'll get it

you don't use paint when patching so use it to cover up graffiti

i'll put a power bar inside of a bun for Medusa..

Sept 8th.....

old time hot dog cook out.

This was started by Cole, I will do the part he did.

I have a BBQ... I will get it fired up about 40 min before sundown, by Boulder one.

I will bring some Mustard, Ketchup, Relish and about 1 pack of hot dogs and one pack of buns (the number never equals up) just to kick off the event.

YOU bring whatever hot dogs, bratwurst, chicken dog, tofu dog or whatever you like to BBQ/grill. (low and slow brisket is not a good idea)

Also bring whatever beverage you want- be ready to share.

And be ready to have a little party at the point....

Ian... please introduce yourself, I will tell you about something I did back in the day that really pissed of the establishment and caused me years of embarrassment.

And that paint you have..... A long time Stoney Local who is on the Taco as "justhemaid" and is a really good artist, who now lives in Bishop. She was the one man anti-grafitti crew and with her now gone there is a big hole in the org chart. Somebody needs to fill her big shoes and start whacking back the mess that is painted all over the place.

I look forward to a big hot dog roast to kick off the fall season.

Paint for the rock, or paint for the bench?

Best not to paint over graffiti?

I'll do my best to show up 9-8, but I'm with Constine re the hot dogs. No can do.

Ian R, I'm happy to see you are interested in trying to make Stoney Point a better place. I suspect that we have more in common than we are dissimilar. I welcome you to join the group of locals who tend to congregate over at Turlock on Tuesday's & Thursday's.

I look forward to the day when we can all look back on this situation and have a good laugh.

and the paint that Ian has .... thats for wiping out graffiti, yes we do paint over it, so it fades into the rock.

Rincon.... what was the exact green paint? Sherwin Williams?

Man, you guys make me wanna come! Especially seeing the hotties above with buns in line for dogs. I grew to 170# eatin lips and azzholes!

Never been to Stoney to actually climb. Haha. What's the bivy situ around there? Is the Eagles Nest stil abandoned? Heheee

It's very impressive the way the bolting issue was handled here both by the longtime locals and the bolter. Maybe there's still hope for our climbing community.
