we survived the zodiac killer!

so after me and jaysen did the nose we both were addicted to el cap. neither of us had done c3 or ever used a hammer for beaks and such... so what better to do then zodiac! there was great weather (even used my down jacket a couple of times) and no crowds so it was smooth sailen! we took out 5 useless heads that were less then 2 inches away from bomb C1 placements. we decided to flip a coin on the ground and swap leads from there and off I went on the first pitch!

special thanks to Eric Sloan for letting us use his gear and feeding us some high quality snacks when we made it down and looking out for us when we were up there!

Take a break. You guys got plenty of time, and about 50 more years of climbing in front of you.

Awesome guys! The Zod is always a fun ride.
If you put a pigtail on your Fifi where the hole is, it's easier to pull it from the daisy each time. I use a bright color piece of cord so you can see it better. Anyway, just a tip.
Cheers!
