Wet Jesus

Kristoffer and I set out to do Jesus Built My Hotrod this past Monday, the 28th of March.
We started off the deck a bit after sunrise and I took us to Ahwahnee Ledge. The first three pitches are super steep and oftentimes thin climbing. One good fall was taken when a fixed kb popped a big block off while bounce testing and the head I was standing on blew. Air time in the morning is better than coffee. The second pitch was my favorite. Some wild and memorable climbing. Thanks Erics.
When we got to Ahwahnee Ledge a snow storm moved in and we climbed through it for the rest of the day. It was like climbing in a snow globe with the snow flying upwards vertically. Beautiful. Poor man's Patagonia...
We decided to climb to the top by way of Wet Denim and Kristoffer set off on lead. The roof up top never fails to entertain. CAUTION: The loose block on the pitch before the roof is large and VERY loose now. It seems to get worse every time I climb the route. The block and that pitch are now dangerous.
We topped out at just about sunrise and went down the descent.

Nice! I climbed on the tower in march of 2006 and had a similar experience with the snow.
