Nice pics and writeup! Thinking of going there next year. Some of that almost looks like rock! I’m glad to see there are things I can manage, if just. :-/

The Haj had the best views & setting of the routes we've done there...well away from the village and nothing but an open sandy plain all the way to Saudi Arabia off in the distance.

Good to see another person traveling to the Rum

The Jordanians are great people. How was the traveler's lodge in Rum? It was closed when I was there, so I stayed out with the Bedouins.

The lodge was open and the hot shower working, but not much of an atmosphere as we were the only people.
