This is a sort-of trip report (1/5 videos) coming out in the coming weeks. I was trying to free the Leaning Tower Westie Face (5.13a)
This was from my trip up to check out the route, all the videos together, particularly the last one will be useful for anyone wishing to free the route.

me, not a climber, and don't KNOW about 'set ups' or anything,
but--hope novice was safe...
say, but you sure did a great job, on the filming of it, :)
stay safe, have fun, and keep sharing...
later, as more folks get a chance to get back on line, etc,
you'll get far better feedback, than from little ol' me, :)

This is really good!
I had a partner for Lurking Fear whose diminutive size prevented him from hauling effectively. This caused our retreat.
Good on you both for sticking with it.
Sitting on my hands, awaiting more of the story...

That was fun to watch.
But I cringe when I see women climbing in a tank top. One word - melanoma!
I climb in a sports bra and a short sleeve performance fabric T-shirt, and very lightweight arm sleeves.
(Oh, and some kind of pants too, obviously...)
It's really no hotter than a tank top and protects your skin from the sun so much better. And given the cost of the titanium dioxide sunblock I coat my exposed skin with, it saves a lot of money to be more covered up!

ps; I deplete Value Village stock here in Seattle of their light weight cotton long sleeve shirts for that very reason.

I always figured taking a girlfriend (or wife) up a wall route is a sure method of breaking up. Just humping the gear to the base of Leaning Tower should check that box.
Great video! Also love those van build/life videos you do.
