I decided to take my shoes off and climb some of the old classics at Castle. I put a few holes in my toes but it was worth it to breathe new life into some well traveled boulders at the home crag! [Click to View YouTube Video]

My feet hurt just watching. I gotta get out there next time I'm in the bay!

May not be technically too hard, but I still think jumping off Mr Magoo from the top with bare feet would really, really hurt. Just climb, don't jump!

There is footage somewhere on this site of Charlie doing ecoterrorist in bare feet.
I agree with Bruce, I would hate to fall barefooted … Even with the pad.

Charlie is next level, but it's a goal of mine for sure!

wonderful video of fun times. Once upon a time I did a certain type of boulder problem barefoot, and there is something very appealing in a paleolithic sort of way about doing so. Barefoot trail running on the right kind of trail is also way liberating.

You go, guy!
