There will be a celebration of RR in Modesto, CA on March 12th. Those interested in attending, please send an email to rr.memorial(@)hailmail.net (we need to have a relatively accurate prediction of attendance for planning purposes)
You will then receive an email invite... (Heads up, for those with gmail, they seem to be ending up in a folder titled "Promotions"....)

To those traveling in from areas populated by climbers or others who may be attending the memorial, ie. Colorado, Southern California, Central Valley California. This would be a good place to see someone who needs a ride gets it and set up a carpool network. I've already had contact with a few people who are in my area or on the way to Modesto and we will try to pick up as many as our vehicles hold. Great time to catch up on friendships and stories.
Any ideas as to how to pull this off in an organized manner? Also suggested by Tamara in our conversation today. She is pulling off a monsterous task hosting this celebration. Thank you Tamara for allowing us to gather once again amoungst friends.

Central West Ballet
Yosemite Climbing Association
Presumably all can be found via the internetz. That may be an option for those who can't make the memorial.
